Warby Parker

Still pinching myself over this one…

I am so excited to share the illustration I created for @warbyparker ‘s new shop in Nashville. All of the details from the wood floor pattern, the marble on the “reference desk” counter, the lights, the colorful books on the shelves, and the glasses (of course!) are so beautiful. I’m so happy my illustration gets to live in this amazing space. 💙

This piece has a really special meaning too, not only because Warby Parker is a dream client, but because I got my first real job at @mallatgreenhills when I was a 2nd year student in high school. I used to take my breaks on a bench right outside where the WP opened. I would a bring my sketchbook and draw the different store fronts on break, and I never could have believed one day that my art would be seen from one of these storefronts!!!! Still pinching myself, as I feel like I'm dreaming. Many thanks to ace Creative Director, Matt Singer!

An unexpected detail… As you walk by the store, the scene breaks itself down into smaller compositional crops, seen through the windows and door:

Greenpeace

I teamed up with @greenpeaceuk to create an illustration for their Lost City exhibition. Yes, The Lost City is a real place! It was only just discovered, and it is already under threat by deep sea mining. Help save this amazing treasure, and the amazing species that occupy it, by calling on our government to negotiate a strong Global Ocean Treaty at the UN. We are almost there and are SO close to 200,000 signatures. Add your name RN and be the one that gets us over the 🏁. https://act.gp/protectthelostcity

I am so honored to be in this digital exhibition alongside my favorite childhood illustrator, Sir Quentin Blake!

FILA

I’m so happy to share this awesome project I worked on with FILA for the French Open.

FILA_LaurenRolwing_WEB-01.jpg

FILA’s original creative director, Pierluigi Rolando, designed this never before seen, limited edition collection that was found in his sketchbook after he passed away. I loved illustrating this graphic look worn by the amazing Ashleigh Barty. Thank you to the amazing Art Department at FILA who helped me get Ash’s signature stance just right! 🎾check out FILA.com to see the entire collection!

This look was worn by the awesome Diego Schwartzman! I used the blue sky, the white fencing, and the red, clay court to represent the French flag. 🎾

This was the first time I’ve seen my illustrations move in such a detailed way, and I was totally blown away by this amazing animation made by Animade.

first 1000 days

I worked with plant-based baby food company, Yumi, to create illustrations that celebrate the first 1,000 days of a baby’s life, and how nutrition supports important milestones like sitting up, crawling, and baby’s first steps.
