SCAD Alumni Mentor Program

I am honored to have participated in The Savannah College of Art & Design's Alumni Mentor Program.  SCAD's Alumni Mentor program is where different departments host alumni visits to show their portfolio, participate in critiques, conduct portfolio reviews with current students, as well as answer any questions students have, especially about post-graduate life.

I graduated from SCAD in 2008 with a B.F.A. in illustration and a minor in fashion.  Even though I have kept in touch with my professors since I graduated, it was great to see them again, be back in a classroom setting, meet the current students as well as the new professors that have joined since I graduated.  It was also fun just having conversations with professors and students on different topics related to the world of illustration.  I learned a lot. I also collected some amazing things from the illustration department and current students.  After seeing some pictures from my portfolio presentation, I realized that I talk A LOT with my hands!  Thanks so much to SCAD, their amazing professors, and their students for making me feel so welcome and for such a wonderful experience.
